Schöllnitz is a place in the southern Brandenburg district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz. It belongs to the municipality of Luckaitztal in the Altdöbern office. Until its incorporation on March 31, 2002, Schöllnitz was an independent municipality.
Schöllnitz is located in the Lower Lusatia at the southern edge of the Niederlausitzer Landrücken Nature Park. The district of the local part borders Buchwäldchen to the north, Muckwar to the northeast, Altdöbern to the east and south, the Bronkower local part Lipten to the southwest, and Gosda with the local areas of Zwietow and Weißag to the west and northwest. Schöllnitz includes the inhabited municipal parts of Luckaitz, Neudöbern, and Rettchensdorf, as well as the residential places of Obermühle, Untermühle, and Waldhaus.
