Schöllnitz est un village dans le district d'Oberspreewald-Lausitz en Brandebourg du Sud. Il fait partie de la commune de Luckaitztal dans l'arrondissement d'Altdöbern. Jusqu'à sa fusion le 31 mars 2002, Schöllnitz était une commune indépendante.
Schöllnitz est situé dans la Basse-Lusace, à la limite sud du parc naturel de Niederlausitzer Landrücken. La commune de ce village est bordée au nord par Buchwäldchen, au nord-est par Muckwar, à l'est et au sud par Altdöbern, au sud-ouest par le quartier de Bronkower Lipten et à l'ouest et au nord-ouest par Gosda avec les localités de Zwietow et Weißag. Schöllnitz comprend les parties habitées de la commune Luckaitz, Neudöbern et Rettchensdorf ainsi que les lieux d'habitation Obermühle, Untermühle et Waldhaus.
