Buchwäldchen is a municipality in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district, in Brandenburg, Germany. It belongs to the municipality of Luckaitztal in the district of Altdöbern. Until its incorporation on 31 March 2020, Buchwäldchen was an independent municipality.
Buchwäldchen is located in Lower Lusatia in the Lower Lusatian Ridge Nature Park. The Buchwäldchen-Muckwar pond landscape south of the village has been part of the nature reserves of the state of Brandenburg since 16 January 1997. In the east, the community borders on Ranzow, a district of Altdöbern, and Muckwar, a district of the municipality of Luckaitztal. In the south and west follow other villages of this community, Neudöbern, Rettchensdorf, Schöllnitz, Luckaitz, Zwietow and Weißag. To the north are the Vetschau districts of Gahlen and Ogrosen.
