The Reichsautobahn service station Fürstenwalde was one of the first service stations on a highway. It is located at the northern exit Fürstenwalde-West of the Federal Motorway 12. The service station was a prototype design, which is why later service stations were named type Fürstenwalde. It is the last service station of this type still preserved in Germany and is under heritage protection.
At the motorway exit Bielany Wrocławskie near Wrocław on the present Autostrada A4, there are two service stations of this type as well as another one at the junction Szczecin Zachód of the Autostrada A6 (). All three service stations are still in operation.
