The Petruskapelle Alexisbad is the Protestant chapel of the district of Alexisbad, which belongs to the town of Harzgerode.
The small wooden building was built in 1812/1815 according to a design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel on the right bank of the Selke in the then newly created spa town of Alexisbad as a tea house for Duke Alexius and Duchess Marie Friederike of Anhalt-Bernburg. Since Alexisbad had no church, on the order of the later owner of the spa and the ducal pavilion, Duchess Friederike of Anhalt-Bernburg, services were held every two weeks in the tea house, which was eventually converted into a chapel.
