Klein Rosenburg is a village and a former municipality in the district of Salzlandkreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Between 1 January 1957 and 1 January 2010, the village belonged to the municipality of Groß Rosenburg.
In Klein Rosenburg is the castle ruins of the Rosenburg, whose first mention dates back to 965. The castle ruins, which stand in Klein Rosenburg, were uncovered and secured in 1995. Today it is a destination for cycling tourists, but also a landmark of the village. New ponds were created and the park around the castle was replanted and partially restored. The castle is the last before the Saale flows into the Elbe and was therefore strategically particularly important. This is also indicated by its size, it has a diameter of 115 m without ramparts and ditches.
