Dölkau is a village and a former municipality in the district Saalekreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Before the incorporation of Zweimen into Leuna, this was an independent municipality until 30 December 2009, which included Dölkau and the district of Göhren.
Until 1815, Dölkau and Göhren belonged to the Amt of Schkeuditz, which had been under Electoral Saxon sovereignty since 1561 and belonged to the Principality of Saxe-Merseburg between 1656/57 and 1738. The Dölkau manor, on which Dölkau Castle was located, was the seat of the Counts of Hohenthal. In 1521, Dölkau was the scene of a witch hunt: a farmer was banished from the country for three years for fortune-telling in a witch trial, while his wife was burned.
