The Friedersdorf Castle is located in the district of Friedersdorf in the eastern Saxon city of Neusalza-Spremberg. The castle, built as the mansion of the Niederfriedersdorf manor, lies near the Spreepark.
It was constructed in the neo-baroque style with decorative elements of the Rococo style between 1887 and 1889 by the royal Saxon chamberlain and cavalry captain Hans Leo von Oppell. The architect was Heinrich Schubert from Dresden.
