Le château de Friedersdorf est situé dans le quartier de Friedersdorf, dans la ville de Neusalza-Spremberg, dans l’est de la Saxe. Le château, construit comme le manoir du manoir de Niederfriedersdorf, est situé près du Spreepark.
Il a été aménagé dans le style néo-baroque avec des éléments décoratifs du style rococo entre 1887 et 1889 par le chambellan royal saxon et capitaine de cavalerie Hans Leo von Oppell. L’architecte était Heinrich Schubert de Dresde.
