Pließkowitz, Upper Sorbian, is a village in the eastern Saxon district of Bautzen and has been part of the municipality of Malschwitz since 1936. It is located in Upper Lusatia and is situated in the settlement area of the Sorbs.
Pließkowitz is a medium-sized estate settlement with a manor block field, approximately seven kilometers northeast of Bautzen and 1.7 km southwest of Malschwitz, located at the border of the natural areas of Upper Lusatian fields and Upper Lusatian heath and pond region. The old estate settlement forms the northern part of today's village and runs in an east-west direction, being separated from the actual manor farm at the western end by the Kleine Spree. The part of the settlement directly on the Bautzener Landstraße only developed in the second half of the 20th century.
