The Olbersdorfer See is a former open-cast mining lake in the area of the municipality of Olbersdorf in the Görlitz district of Germany. With 60 hectares, it is the largest body of water in the vicinity of Zittau and serves as a recreational area.
There are circular paths around the lake measuring 4.5 kilometers and 6 kilometers in length. The storage volume of the lake, which is up to 40 meters deep, is approximately 6 million cubic meters. Its water surface is situated at an elevation of 236.5 meters above sea level.
