Burghammer, Upper Sorbian Bórkhamor, is a district of the municipality of Spreetal in the Bautzen district in Saxony. Like the surrounding villages, Burghammer also belongs to the Sorbian settlement area in Upper Lusatia.
Burghammer is located on the old road from Spremberg to Hoyerswerda between Burgneudorf and Burg. To the south of the village is the Bernsteinsee, which was created by flooding the drained open-cast mine Burghammer. The Kleine Spree, coming from Burg, flows through the village towards Burgneudorf.
