Scheibe, Upper Sorbian Šiboj, was a location in the Hoyerswerda district on the Kleine Spree, which was devastated and demolished for the open-pit mining project Scheibe in 1986/1987. Today, the Scheibe Lake, which is part of the Lusatian Lake District, is located at this site. Near the former location of the village, there is a memorial stone and an information board along the path that circles the lake.
Scheibe was located about 10 kilometers east of Hoyerswerda and approximately 20 kilometers south of Spremberg in a remote heathland. Situated in the northernmost part of today's municipality of Lohsa at the border with the present municipality of Spreetal, the nearest villages along the Kleine Spree were Burg to the north, Riegel to the south, and Tiegling to the southeast. The nearest larger towns are Weißkollm upstream and Burghammer downstream.
