Lüchtringen is a village in the municipality of Höxter in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia. Lüchtringen is located on the Weser, almost 100 meters above sea level. At the end of 2020, Lüchtringen had 2,938 inhabitants, according to the website of the municipality of Höxter.
Lüchtringen is the largest town in the municipality after the town of Höxter itself. It is the only district that lies on the right bank of the Weser. The village is located about 4 km northeast of the town of Höxter and about 4 km southwest of the center of the directly adjacent Holzminden. The village has one railway station, Lüchtringen Station on the Langeland - Holzminden railway line. Lüchtringen is located on the Weser-Radweg long-distance tourist cycle path.
