The Silbermühle is a former water mill in the Leopoldstal district of the municipality of Horn-Bad Meinberg in the district of Lippe in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The Silbermühle is located at the foot of the Velmerstot mountain near the village of Leopoldstal. The Silberbach there runs through the Silberbach valley, which is shaped by nature. Between 1710 and 1711 silver was searched for in the Silberbach valley, but the yield at that time was very low. It turned out that the real wealth of the Silberbach valley lay in water power and not in precious metals. A total of three grinding mills, four grinding mills and two fulling mills settled on the upper reaches of the Silberbach. In addition to the silver mill, the remains of a grinding mill protected as a ground monument and the Bollmühle, which is a listed building, are still preserved today.
