Wildenstein Castle, in the sandstone Elbe Mountains, is the ruin of a rocky castle near Schmilka, in the Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge district of Saxony, Germany. There are still beam supports, remains of walls, steps and petroglyphs.
The castle ruins are located in the Saxon Switzerland National Park, 4 km north-northeast of Schmilka on the Elbe, a district of Bad Schandau, and 2.4 km southeast of Lichtenhain, a district of Sebnitz. It is located in the district of Ostrau south of the Kirnitzsch valley on the Neuer Wildenstein mountain above the Kuhsstall.
