The Struffelt is a nature reserve of heath and moorland above Rott, a district of Roetgen in the Aachen city region in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Struffelt is part of the High Fens-Eifel Nature Park.
It is named after the Struffeltkopf with very nutrient-poor clay soils. Due to the fact that it towers over the surrounding area by about 100 m, the clouds approaching from the west rain down here. On average, annual precipitation of around 1100 mm is measured.
