The Evangelical Reformed Church in Rekum, a district of Bremen-Blumenthal, is the house of worship for the Evangelical Reformed Congregation of Rekum. The church building, erected in 1956, is located in the center of the district at Pötjerweg 75.
For centuries, Rekum, like Neuenkirchen, Vorbruch, and Rade, belonged to the parish of Neuenkirchen and from 1604 to the parish of Blomendal. Rekum was a municipality in the Blumenthal district from 1885 to 1932, then becoming part of the Osterholz district and from 1939 onward to Bremen. In 1864, of the 731 residents of the village, 635 were Evangelical Reformed and 94 were Evangelical Lutheran. The neighboring Bremen was predominantly Reformed in the 18th century, apart from the Lutheran Bremen Cathedral Congregation; it was only after the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss of 1803 that the merging of the two Evangelical churches into the Bremen Evangelical Church took place.
