The Woltersdorf lock is a single-chamber lock with a weir located in the municipality of Woltersdorf. The current lock has been in operation since 1882 and was last renovated in 1998. It is part of the federal waterway Rüdersdorfer Gewässer with a class III waterway and connects the Kalksee on the Rüdersdorf side with the Flakensee on the Erkneran side. The fall height is 2.10 meters. For rowing boats and pedal boats, manual towing is available.
The Woltersdorf lock still allows the transport of bulk goods by water by the companies based in Rüdersdorf, in particular the cement plant in Rüdersdorf. The Woltersdorf lock is also a popular destination during the summer months and is used by hundreds of water sports enthusiasts.
