The Hagen-Kabel power plant is a gas/oil-fired heating power plant in Hagen-Kabel with a total output of 235 MW. It was put into operation in 1981. It has two gas turbines with outputs of 96 MW and 80 MW, as well as a downstream steam turbine with an output of 75 MW. The steam turbine and the 80 MW gas turbine were supplied by BBC, while the 96 MW gas turbine, which was renewed in 2004, was supplied by Alstom. The chimney of the Hagen-Kabel power plant is 96.5 meters high.
