The Mariensiel Lock is the easternmost lock of the Ems-Jade Canal. It is located in the Bordum district of the independent city of Wilhelmshaven.
The lock is named after the Sander district of Mariensiel, although it is situated in Wilhelmshaven. It is operated by the Lower Saxony State Authority for Water Management, Coastal Protection, and Nature Conservation and can be used year-round. The operating hours are season-dependent and are determined anew each year.
