The Bergeshövede lock is a disused lock on the Dortmund-Ems Canal, in the immediate vicinity of the Wet Triangle. Bergeshövede is a village and a former municipality in the municipality of Hörstel–Riesenbeck, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The lock was built in 1898, together with the almost identical Small Lock Bevergern. The lock chamber is almost 67 m long, 8.60 m wide and had a drop height of 4.1 m. However, it was too small for tow trains and so the Great Lock Bevergern was put into operation as early as 1916.
