Cuxhaven America Station is a part of the Cuxhaven railway station located in the port of Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony. It primarily serves freight traffic but is also usable for passenger transport for special trains as a feeder for cruise ships.
Via a triangle of tracks, the America Station is directly connected to the line from Hamburg-Harburg to Cuxhaven and, on the other hand, linked to the city station Cuxhaven via a three-kilometer-long connecting track. The operation of the electrically powered switches and light signals is managed from the Cf signal box, which is otherwise a mechanical signal box, at the city station Cuxhaven.
