St. Peter in Chains is a former Roman Catholic church in the district of Bliesmengen-Bolchen in the Saarland municipality of Mandelbachtal. It is listed as a protected monument and is currently used as a cemetery chapel for the community.
The oldest part of the church dates back to the 14th century. The present church was built in 1752 and enlarged to the north in 1866. During World War II, the building was destroyed in 1944 and rebuilt in 1948 under the direction of the St. Ingbert architect Ludwig Kreischer. In the 1970s, the church became too small for the rapidly growing community: a new church, St. Paul, was built. St. Peter in Chains was converted into a cemetery chapel in 1972. The building was shortened to the west in 1971, and the old facade was restored and set back. The high altar, which originally came from the monastery of Gräfinthal and was erected in Bliesmengen-Bolchen in 1785, was moved to the new church. At the same time, a modern extension was created to the east for the storage of coffins.
