The Röttiger Barracks was a barracks facility in Hamburg-Neugraben-Fischbek that was used militarily from 1938 to 2004. A residential quarter called Fischbeker Heidbrook is being developed on the former barracks site.
Construction of the facility was started in 1938 as the Tank Barracks Fischbek for the Wehrmacht, intended for the accommodation of the Tank Regiment 19 and the Reconnaissance Battalion 20. However, due to the outbreak of World War II, there were initial delays; construction work was halted in 1939, and only from 1940 onwards were individual buildings completed. In the completed parts, a battalion of the Infantry Regiment 69 and some pioneer units were then accommodated.
