The house was built in 1891. It was listed as No. C 007 in the monument register of the city of Mönchengladbach on November 27, 1997.
In the district of Volksgarten, there is a freestanding two-story brick building within a larger garden area, with an angularly interrelated floor plan. Each facade features differing designs and articulations. The gable-fronted south, north, and west facades of the house are designed as equally significant main facades. The gables are each executed as floating gables in a wooden structure. A continuous block cornice serves as a common horizontal articulation, while corner reinforcements in the form of pilasters serve as vertical emphasis. The wall area of the south facade opens with two axially arranged windows on each floor.
