The Zwingenberg Castle is a smaller castle complex in Zwingenberg in the Bergstraße district of Hesse. The listed building originated from a lowland castle and has been the town hall of the place since 1969.
The castle was built at the northwestern end of the northern city wall of Zwingenberg at an elevation of about 105 m above sea level at the corner point of the city wall of Zwingenberg, which bends southward along Federal Highway 3. It protected the narrow edge between the heights of the Bergstraße to the north and the then marshy lowland of the old Neckar riverbed, as well as the toll routes from north to south past the place and the place itself.
