Einhardschule Seligenstadt has been the independent secondary school of the Offenbach district in Seligenstadt since May 18, 2005, which was spun off from the same-named comprehensive school with a gymnasial upper level at the beginning of the 2004/2005 school year. The remaining main and secondary school is now called Merianschule. Various educational institutions in Seligenstadt have been named after the scholar and historian Einhard since 1803. In 2010, the school was awarded for the ninth consecutive time as one of 92 schools in Hesse as a "School with a Focus on Music" by the Hessian Ministry of Culture.
The logo of the Einhardschule shows the stylized Einhard Basilica and the Main river under the abbreviation ESS.
