The Forchbach, also known as Hagbach at its mouth, is a right tributary of the Main in Karlstein in the district of Aschaffenburg in Lower Franconia.
The Forchbach springs from the vineyards near Alzenau-Hörstein at Käfernberg. Its size is mainly achieved through its two largest tributaries, the Bachquellengraben and then the Haggraben. In summer, the Forchbach is almost dried up. A small trickle from the Bachquellengraben feeds the dry riverbed with water. At the confluence of the Haggraben in Karlstein-Dettingen, it is more than twice the size of the Forchbach, which is then referred to as Hagbach from there on. Near the Sankt-Kilian Bridge, it then flows into the Main.
