The German Toy Road is a long-term travel route through places in Thuringia and Franconia, which share a common tradition in toy manufacturing, particularly dolls. The route aims to better market the areas touristically.
It runs from Waltershausen in Thuringia via Erfurt, Arnstadt to Zirndorf in the Fürth district and covers approximately 300 km with some branches. Along the way, it passes the toy metropolis Sonneberg with the German Toy Museum located there and the doll city Neustadt near Coburg with the Doll Museum.
