The Krebsbach is a left tributary of the Kahl in the Spessart in the Aschaffenburg district in Lower Franconia. It predominantly flows towards the northwest.
The Krebsbach originates as Vockenbach in a valley at the Hahnenkamm ridge near Mömbris-Hemsbach, north of Stempelhöhe. It flows through the narrow Krebsbach gorge between Schanzenkopf and the main summit of Hahnenkamm. Here, on the right side of the stream, are the former sites of Randenburg and the Forgotten Castle on two hills. On the left side of the brook, there is a historical ring wall at the summit of Schanzenkopf. In the lower valley, the Krebsbach is used as a water supply for several ponds. In Alzenau, the Krebsbach passes under Märkerstraße and flows into the Kahl opposite the parking lot at Alzenau Castle.
