The vocational schools of the Groß-Gerau district, short: BSGG, are vocational schools in Groß-Gerau. The landmark of the educational institution is the water tower located directly next to the school premises and visible from afar. The school sponsor is the district.
In 1838, a "craftsmen and lower trade school" began as a Sunday drawing school. In 1846, the "institution for higher education of tradesmen" was opened. In 1865, a craftsmen's, winter construction, and further education school was established by the Groß-Gerau trade association.
