Michelstadt Castle is a former town castle in Michelstadt in the Odenwaldkreis in Hesse, Germany.
The castle originated from a Franconian farmstead, its predecessor building from the 10th century was destroyed in 1307. Today's area was originally only the outer bailey, the former core castle has not been preserved. The current complex is mainly the result of the reconstruction work of the 14th century as well as various construction measures of the 16th and 17th centuries.
