The Fahrenbach is an approximately five-kilometer-long right or southwestern tributary of the Rosbach.
The Fahrenbach originates in a forested area northwest of Kellerberg near Rosbach vor der Höhe-Ober-Rosbach, south of the Rosenkranzwege. Close by is the Thick Oak, a roughly 300-year-old pollard tree. The Fahrenbach initially flows southward past Kellerberg and the Fox Den, then it encircles the Salzberg. There, it also flows past a quartzite factory. Just before it crosses under European Road 451, it changes its course to the northeast. Near a sports field, it reaches the urban area of Ober-Rosbach. It then goes under Federal Road 455 and eventually flows into Rosbach, near Junkerwiese, into the river of the same name.
