The Protestant church is a listed church building in Bicken, a district of the municipality of Mittenaar in the Lahn-Dill-Kreis. The church community belongs to the deanery on the Dill in the Nord-Nassau diocese of the Protestant Church in Hesse and Nassau.
The medieval choir tower with a shingled bell floor and a spire probably dates back to the castle chapel of the knights of Bicken. It was built in 1559. There are remnants of late medieval wall paintings visible. The nave was built as a cross church in 1756. The three-sided, transverse oriented galleries are dated 1787. The altar and pulpit from 1787 stand at the gallery-free northern longitudinal side. The Raßmann organ from 1837 is known beyond the regional area. It was renovated and expanded in 2016.
