The Uelzen Telecommunications Tower is a reinforced concrete telecommunications tower built by Deutsche Telekom AG in Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The tower, which is designed as a type tower of the type FMT 13, is the tallest structure in Uelzen with a total height of 158 meters.
Since the changeover to the DVB-T2 standard with HEVC image coding on 22 May 2019, the Uelzen telecommunications tower has been used again for broadcasting television programmes. Optionally, additional programs included as a shortcut can be played back via an Internet connection if the receiver supports HbbTV.
