The Evangelical Church of Cappel from 1828/29 is a Protestant Reformed church building of the East Class of the Lippe Regional Church in the Blomberg district of Cappel. The church and church property have been listed as architectural monuments in the list of monuments in Blomberg since 20 August 1985.
The place name Cappel is derived from chapel, which indicates that a church building stood on this site very early on. The first documentary mention dates back to 1231. The church, dedicated to John the Baptist, belonged to the archdeaconry of Steinheim in the diocese of Paderborn.
