The Evangelical Church of Malstatt in the Saarbrücken district of Malstatt is one of the two churches of the Malstatt parish in the Saar-West church district of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland. It is listed as an individual monument under monument protection.
The first church in Malstatt dated back to the Romanesque period and was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. In 1732, a rectangular hall building was constructed. By around 1865, this building had become unusable due to its dilapidated condition. The church building was demolished in 1868 and replaced by a neo-Gothic hall church according to the plans of the Trier architect Friedrich Seyffart by 1870. A sketch by Friedrich August Stüler is said to have served as a template for the plans. The city architect of Saarbrücken, Hugo Dihm, took over the management of the construction. The total construction costs amounted to around 31,500 thalers.
