The Schleswig-Tegelnoor wrecks are remnants of a small fleet of boats from the 17th century that have been preserved in the sediments of the former Tegelnoor near Schleswig. The Tegelnoor, a small bay of the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei, has been cut off from the larger body of water since 1969 and is silted up. The wrecks were first described in 1822, investigated and mapped in 1859, and finally rediscovered and dated in 1996. The site is located at 54° 30′ 20.2″ N, 9° 32′ 46.8″ E.
