Barth Mill

Barthmühle is a settlement belonging to the municipality of Pöhl in the Vogtlandkreis, located on the White Elster River. The settlement is situated in the fields of the places Jocketa, Trieb, and Liebau, which were merged with other places to form the new municipality of Pöhl on January 1, 1994.

Barthmühle is near the Elstertal Bridge, the second largest brick bridge in the world. The settlement predominantly lies on the western bank of the White Elster River, with only the train station located on the eastern bank. In the village, the Dölaubach stream flows into the White Elster. The majority of the settlement of Barthmühle is situated in the fields of the localities Jocketa and Trieb, which are part of the municipality of Pöhl, while only the train station on the eastern bank of the White Elster is in the area of Liebau. Barthmühle is located on the western edge of the municipality of Pöhl in the center of the natural region of Vogtland in the Saxon part of the historical Vogtland.
