The Rondell of Sondershausen is a semicircular structure completed in 1910, featuring a war memorial inaugurated in 1929, located on the Hainleite ridge in the Thuringian district of Kyffhäuser. Situated at an elevation of 390 m above sea level, it serves as a vantage point overlooking, among other views, the core city of Sondershausen and the Harz mountains.
The Rondell is positioned on the upper edge of the northern steep slope of the Hainleite, which drops down into the valley traversed by the Bebra river, leading to the core city of Sondershausen. Located 1.8 km west of the Rondell, which is situated at an elevation of 394 m approximately 630 m north-northeast of the peak of the Dorn, is Bebra at the Bebra river and 2 km east is Jecha at the Wipper, two districts of Sondershausen.
