The Protestant Church of St. Mary is located in the municipality of Ostramondra in the district of Sömmerda in Thuringia.
St. Mary was built as a Protestant castle church from 1711 to 1712 and consecrated. The builder is named as Rudolf von Bünau, who, however, had already passed away in 1609.
The hall church constructed from rubble stones features a western nave and a straight western end, and has a slate-covered gable roof with a western hip roof and a narrow choir tower to the east topped with a baroque slate-covered dome. The eastern church tower likely dates back to the early Gothic construction period. Previously, a chapel stood on the property. The church received a baroque organ between 1742 and 1744, which was restored from 2005 to 2006.
