Motorcyclists visiting the Weserbergland have become accustomed to gathering on the Köterberg, a viewpoint located at an altitude of 496 m north of Höxter. At the Köterberghaus you can order a Kaffee und Kuchen or a more substantial meal and overnight accommodation. In good weather, the Köterberg offers beautiful panoramas of the Harz Mountains; it is sometimes called the Brocken of Weserbergland, the Brocken being a well-known viewpoint in the Harz Mountains.
