Oeding is a district of the municipality of Südlohn in the Borken district of North Rhine-Westphalia. Until 1969, Oeding was an independent municipality in the former Ahaus district. The town hall of the municipality of Südlohn is located in Oeding.
Oeding is located in the west of the municipality of Südlohn at the German-Dutch border. The former municipality of Oeding had an area of 20 km². It included the village of Oeding as well as the hamlets of Nichtern and Oeding.
