The Roman Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary is a Gothic hall church in Ering in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn. It belongs to the parish association of Ering in the deanery of Simbach of the Diocese of Passau.
The church was built since the mid-15th century using parts of the predecessor building. The painted year 1478 can be found on the north wall of the nave. Around 1480, the structure was vaulted. Around 1525, the two-bay Annakapelle was added to the south side of the nave, with the year 1528 painted above the west bay.
The conspicuously large, uniform structure, with its spatial formation and external and internal detail forms, is among the most sophisticated late Gothic churches in the region.
