The Deutzer Weiher – old spelling Deutzer Weier – were medieval fish ponds of the Abbey of Deutz. They are located in the Gierath district of the Gronau borough of Bergisch Gladbach, east of the Gierather Wald street. The hiking path running from southwest to northeast, accompanied by a narrow brook, was built on the western embankment of the ponds. There were 11 ponds, constructed around 1200 on an area of about 300 × 300 meters. The ponds were supplied by the Hasselbach.
