Flörsbachtal is a municipality in the southeast of the Hessian Main-Kinzig district, which was created on April 1, 1972, through the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Flörsbach, Kempfenbrunn, and Mosborn under this newly established name.
The municipal area includes among others the Wiesbüttmoor, the Wiesbüttsee, the Wellersberg, and the Bergfeld. The Flörsbacher Höhe is located northeast of the federal road B 276 from Flörsbachtal towards Biebergemünd, providing a view of the Main-Spessart. The highest point in the municipality is at 567 m above sea level on the summit of Hermannskoppe.
