The Grundsbach is a 4.8-kilometer long left tributary of the Oelze in the Thuringian Slate Mountains.
The source of the Grundsbach is located at 648 m above sea level near the Wiegandsmühle west of Großbreitenbach. Further along, it flows through the Grundstal past the Grundsmühle and the vacation village Hundertpfund before it merges with the Oelze at the level of the Leutnantsmühle.
