For the State Garden Show 2003, the area behind the St. Antonius Church and Bruno Kleine was designed. On the former site of the van Delden spinning mill, urban planners created the Island Park Gronau. Canals were dug, creating individual islands, each with its own distinct design. The garden and water island offer various entertainment options, all in close proximity and separated by romantic waterways.
