The loading tower Groß Neuendorf is located at the Oder port Groß Neuendorf in the municipality of Letschin, district Märkisch-Oderland. It was built in 1953 and was originally used for the transshipment of goods. Today, the multi-storey building is used for tourism and gastronomy. Together with the port facilities, the remnants of the railway facilities of the Oderbruchbahn, as well as the engine house with separation and drying building, the loading tower is listed in the official monument list of the state of Brandenburg.
The first quay wall in Groß Neuendorf was built in 1909. Two years later, the second quay wall was constructed, and two more years later, the first rail loading crane with wooden cladding was installed. In 1928, the second loading crane followed, designed as a portal crane with a mounted rotating crane house, also clad in wood.
